After delivering a number of projects in the building we were delighted to be approached by the Department of the Treasury’s security team to deliver a building hardening to the Treasury Building in Parkes.
The works were all about increasing the security of multiple access points in the building by installing 35mm ballistic glass and upgrading reception areas. The glass was installed to not only prevent people penetrating the building but also protecting the APS staff and stationed security guards.
As the building is fully occupied and a secure environment all works had to be conducted outside normal working hours.
Although not the most photogenic works in our portfolio we are extremely happy with how smoothly the works ran and that we were able to fully achieve the desired outcome.
