Blackett Commercial was established in 2013 out of Blackett Property Group, a market leading residential construction company with a
 40-year track record. Construction is deeply woven into our DNA. During the planning stage we work with you to identify the project goals, requirements, and obstacles to ensure we’re clear on the vision
and objectives. We’ll conduct feasibility studies to define the scope of work and begin formulating the basis of the project budget and
delivery timelines.

During the design and development phase we’ll engage one of our specialist contractors to draft the development drawings, materials, finishes and detailed plans for the build. We’ll be the conduit between any relevant architectural, engineering or other professional services to ensure the design meets all necessary codes and regulations.

On average the industry project variation rate is 17% – Blackett’s variation is less than 2% because we actively plan and foresee all controllable elements of the build and provide holistic appraisals based on the discussed goals. Prior to engagement, you will be given a detailed costing that’s regularly reviewed to ensure your project is on financial track and any cost saving measures are exercised.

The final stage of the project involves managing the delivery and ensuring all necessary paperwork including permits and certificates are obtained prior to providing possession of the building. During this stage we’ll work with you on any final adjustments and provide the relevant training on building systems and operations where required.

Many of the staff at Blackett have AGSVA NV2 clearance enabling our team to work on high-security projects.
